
Dr. Louise Stoehr has been recognized by the American Association of Teachers of German, and awarded a two week seminar in Berlin, Germany (June 27 - July 10), to participate in the Neuer Blick, eue Stimmen: Interkulturelles Leben und Wirken.
Through many activities, ranging from experiencing first-hand Berlin’s international cuisine to conversations with political and social activists, participants will gather new materials and gain new insights into what it means to live in a society that is becoming more and more diverse. Participants will meet with representatives from governmental and non-governmental agencies and organizations that represent the interests of many in Berlin’s diverse population.

Center for a Livable World is proud to announce the "Toward a Livable World" Executive Workshop to be held at the State Capitol in Austin, Texas on June 1-3.
The goal of this workshop is to assemble a select group of 20 key actors in the sustainable development dialogue to develop a set of consensus recommendations about the roadmap to a livable future.
